Years ago, Lamson® was the first high-quality,
fully machined reel at a great value. We are proud
to introduce the Lamson Velocity, extending this
tradition by incorporating leading-edge technology
into a fully-machined reel that retails close to
$200.
The Velocity is a large arbor reel with a fully-sealed
conical drag. We can offer this tremendous value
in a high-performance reel because we have designed
the Velocity to be efficient to machine. The Velocity
has a less aggressive arbor ratio, deliberately
uniform wall thickness, and a more planar structure
than the ULA and Litespeed. By making these structural
changes while retaining the core conical technology,
Velocity offers a superior reel in the mid-$200
category.
