Loops for Subsurface Flies

For years I’ve used open loops for almost all of my sub surface patterns -- I’m a strong believer in allowing the fly to swing naturally.  The exception is when using a multi-dropper setup (excluding the point fly). I’ve tried different knots to create the loop but I think the Homer-Rode is the best solution.
