How to Tie a Loop Knot in a Wire Leader

Several weeks ago Barry Reynolds gave a presentation and fly tying demo on warm water fishing. He showed us a trick that he and Brad Befus had devised for tying loop knots in flexible wire leader. The process is so simple that it deserves no real words, just a couple of pictures. Do not use this technique with monofilament.

You simply pass the overhand knot at the end of the leader through the second overhand knot!
