Located in Pine, Colorado, only an hour south of Boulder, Crystal Lake is undoubtedly one of the premiere private fishing spots in the state. Over 2 miles of the North Fork of the South Platte is full of Rainbow, Cutbow, Yellowstone Cutthroat, Browns and Donaldson Steelhead from 10” to two feet long! This is one of the most exclusive, pristine and natural stretches of the South Platte that you could ever fish. The river has long glassy pools, cutbanks, pocket water, riffles and plunges to challenge the most experienced angler. Fishing is limited to only eight rods or one group a day, but sees an average of 1 to 2 anglers. The namesake of the resort, 10-acre Crystal Lake, is home to a world record Cutbow weighing almost ten pounds and hosts other species of trout as well as record size carp.
