Tying Instruction: |

|
Start thread behind hook eye and wrap thread to 1/3
hook shank length. |
|
2
|
Tie in tail material and wrap threadbase over tail material
to above hook point. Note: Tail length equal hookshank length. Cut
off excess at 1/3 hookshank. |

Prepare and tie in body quill.Note: Soak quill in water
prior to tying in and wrapping. |

|
Wrap an even/smooth thread base over body quill to above
hook barb. |

|
Wrap an even/smooth thread base to 1/3 hookshank. |

|
Wrap body quill to 1/3 hookshank. Tie in and cut off
excess. |
|
7
|
Tie in a flat wing perpendicular to hookshank using
"x" wraps. |
|
8
|
Dub the thorax behind and in front of wing to 2 eye
lengths behind hook eye. |
|
9
|
Whip-finish an extra small head. |
|
10
|
Cut wing to length. Each wing length equals the body
length. |
