Step
Tying Instruction:
1
Start thread behind hook eye and wrap thread to 1/3 hook shank length.

Tie in tail material and wrap threadbase over tail material to above hook point. Note: Tail length equal hookshank length. Cut off excess at 1/3 hookshank.

Prepare and tie in body quill.Note: Soak quill in water prior to tying in and wrapping.

Wrap an even/smooth thread base over body quill to above hook barb.

Wrap an even/smooth thread base to 1/3 hookshank.

Wrap body quill to 1/3 hookshank. Tie in and cut off excess.
7
Tie in a flat wing perpendicular to hookshank using "x" wraps.
8
Dub the thorax behind and in front of wing to 2 eye lengths behind hook eye.

Whip-finish an extra small head.
10
Cut wing to length. Each wing length equals the body length.
