Tying Instruction: |

Start thread behind hook eye and wrap thread to 1/3
hook shank length. |

|
Tie in parachute wing material at 1/3 hook shank length.
Note: Do not cut off excess |

|
Tie Tail material behind wing. Note: Tail length equals
hook shank length. |

|
Tie in abdomen "vane" with notch forward/up,
wrap thread base to above hook barb.Note: The "vane" is
opposite the "biot" side of a turkey quill. |

Cut off excess tail material behind wing. |
|

|
Prepare and tie in body quill.Note: Soak quill in water
prior to tying in and wrapping. |

|
Wrap an even/smooth thread base over body quill to above
hook barb. |

|
Wrap an even/smooth thread base to front of wing. |
|

|
Wrap body quill to 2~3 wraps in front of wing. Tie in
and cut off excess. |

|
Tie in hackle feather, dull side toward hookshank, in
front of wing. |
|
11
|
Dub the thorax behind and in front of wing to 2 eye
lengths behind hook eye. |

|
Wrap hackle around parachute post, 4~6 turns. Tie off
and cut off hackle tip. |

13
|
Whip-finish an extra small head. |
|
14
|
Cut parachute wing to length. Length equals your choice. |
