Tying Instruction: |

Slide Bead on hook. |
|

Start thread behind bead. Wrap a thread base to 1/3
shank length. |

|
Tie in shuck material, wrap thread base over shuck material
to above hook barb. Note: Shuck length equals body length. |
|

|
Tie in abdomen "vane" with notch forward/up.Note:
The "vane" is opposite the "biot" side of a turkey
quill. |

|
Return the thread to 2 eye lengths behind bead. |
|

|
Wrap abdomen biot to 2 eye lengths behind bead. Tie
off and cut off excess. |

|
Tie in shellback/wing foam. |
|
8
|
Wrap thread base to 1/3 hookshank. |
|

|
Dub an in the thread thorax to 1 eye length behind hook
eye.Note: The thorax should be larger than the bead-head. |

|
Pull shellback/wing forward and tie off. Do not cut
off excess. |
|

|
Tie in hackle behind wing and make 3 ~ 4 wraps. |

|
Tie off behind wing and cut off excess. |
|
13
|
Whip-finish a small head in front of wing and behind
bead. |

|
Trim wing, add optional fabric paint for indicator.
