By: Unknown, This Is My Own Version, That I've Been Tying For Over 20 Years.
Hook: TMC 200RBL
Size: 12 ~16
Thread: Danville's 210 Black
Abdomen: Gold Tinsel Chenille, Over Wrapped with Sparse Hare's Ear Dubbing Loop
Thorax: Bright Green Caddis Dubbing
Legs: Black Coarse Dubbing Picked Out
Weight: Optional

Step Tying Instruction
1 Lay thread base to tail area and back to 2/3 from eye.
2 Tie in the chenille at that point retreat tying thread to bend.
3 Wrap tinsel to bend, tie in & trim off.
4 Form dubbing loop and insert hare's ear dubbing into loop, spin to form dubbing rope. Taking giant thread wraps, move tying thread back to 2/3rd point weaving so as not to smash tinsel, move bobbin out of the way.
5 Spiral the rope forward, moving in a way to allow tinsel to show through the rope. Trim!
6 Use tying thread, dub caddis green body, 1/8"
7 Dub black head/legs, pick out hair for legs.
8 Whip-finish a medium sized head. Add head cement to complete fly

Fishing Instructions:
Dead drift this fly at or near the bottom. Use it below a larger stone fly or anchor fly. Be sure you are on the bottom where these caddis larvae live.

Note:
In British Columbia, they do not allow for a second fly when fly fishing, only a one-fly rig is allowed. In this case use a weighted version.
