Ben
Furimsky has been fly fishing and tying flies
since he was five, when his father introduced
him to the sport. Within a year, he was fishing
on his own for bluegill and bass on flies he tied
himself. Rarely did he return without filling
his waders looking for bigger fish. He has learned
many skills and tricks of the trade from legends
in fly tying such as George Harvey. His flies
continually develop and are tested all over the
world.
One
of the hardest fishing people you will ever know,
Ben has been known to cast his fly rod for more
than 24 hours straight, only stopping to grab
a snack!
He
has guided fly fishing in CO, PA, and NJ for the
last nine years and has taught fly tying since
he was 16 years old.
