Daniel Smith, a Boulder, Colorado native,
started fishing at five years old with his father
at Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park.
He is the Head Guide / Booking and Water Manager
at Front Range Anglers. He has a driven passion
to teach, and his teaching style is extremely
patient and thoughtful. He is incredibly observant
and can help to find the smallest detail that
can make a world of improvement to any fly angler.
He has been building custom fly rods professionally
for over 15 years and fly-fishing for over 25
years. His greatest joy is fishing ultra light
(0-2 wt.) rods with very difficult casts/drifts
to any size fish (especially carp).
